IREL, spol. s r.o. (LLC) was established in the year 1994. Since that time IREL has been a production partner of Teva Pharmaceuticals Czech Republic, formerly known as GALENA a.s. Opava, Czech Republic. Our main production specialization is a pre-extraction preparation of medicinal drugs, mainly Milk Thistle, Ergot, yew-tree etc. (valerian, moldavian dragonhead, raspberry, hops..). Such highly qualitatively treeted materials enables much more efficient extraction of final pharmaceutical substances in a quantity and quality as well.

Most of the pre-extraction technologies and procedures was already registered and company IREL, spol. s r.o. hold their patents, granted on the basis of international law of patent protection.

In the year 2000 IREL, spol. s r.o. purchased entire cosmetic production (technology) from its partner Teva Pharmaceuticals, Czech Republic and started a production of cosmetics and "cosmeceuticals" (pharmacosmetics) based on the Contract Manufactoring with Teva. In 2003 IREL, spol. s r.o. purchased formulas, know-how and Trade Marks of „Camillca", „Capillan" and „DIA emulsions".

Next to these traditional pharmacosmetics, company IREL, spol. s r.o. developed and launched lot of own cosmetic lines. Among the most famous one belongs line Mariol, intended for newborns and the youngest children. This line is enriched by the extracts from Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum). Another cosmetic line is, for instance, Irelona which is intended for skin daily care and newly also line Irel, intended for hygiene, regeneration, and revitalisation of the sensitive skin. Last but not least it is also Irsha line, which was developed especially for women.

In 2008, in addition to cosmetic preparations for humans, company IREL, spol. s r.o. started the production of cosmetic preparations for veterinary use focused namely on the care of hair and skin of the animals.

Production of extracts and tinctures of medicinal substances, authorized by the State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL), was initiated in 2008. Besides extracts from the category of pharmaceutical active substances (APIs), company IREL, spol. s r.o. also manufacture extracts and tinctures for the production of cosmetic preparations. Therefore lot of our own cosmetical extracts you may find in our cosmetic preparations.

Entire production facilities, organisation of production, production processes, control and contracting commitments of company IREL, spol. s r.o. are in full compliance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) and Good Agricultural Practise (GAP).
