CAMILLCA baby cosmetic series includes preparations which are suitable for daily treatment of baby skin. All of its preparations concur historical traditions of the quality of this series, which was introduced to the market more than sixty years ago. Of course it is obvious for the present preparations of CAMILLCA series that modern attitudes to treating the baby skin are used and the cosmetic raw materials of the highest quality are applied. In development of modern CAMILLCA series, the strategy of the highest efficacy of the individual preparations with respect to the sensitive baby skin was used. For these reasons, the preparations contain higher amount of regenerating and strengthening components which protect and nourish the skin. The criteria of non-irritability and good tolerance for various skin types were satisfied, and the substances which might cause allergic reactions were removed by careful selection of the individual preparations. This fact was also considered in the question of selecting a fragrance which is now common to the whole CAMILLCA series. The common denominator for setting the preparation manufacture qualities was the question of pleasant feelings associated with using the individual preparations for the child itself. A child, rather than an adult, will note the foam tenderness and richness, fast oil absorption or the preparation gentleness during washing and taking a shower. The BABY SHAMPOO is intended for washing of children‘s hair. For this reason, it contains soft and gentle washing components which remove impurities effectively from hair without damaging hair and scalp. Thick foam will prevent unpleasant running-down in eyes and will enable comfortable washing and consequent rinsing with water. Urea present in the preparation plays an important role; it induces on skin the condition which does not allow propagation of unfavourable microflora on scalp and at the same time it keeps water in it so its overdrying does not occur even in case of frequent hair washing. Amino acid complex helps to repair damaged hair. The complex has been obtained from processing keratin, the basic structural protein of hair and skin. Consequently, these substances become a natural part of a repaired hair structure. The balanced pH value of the preparation induces the condition when hair can be combed out easily even without using conditioner, and hair is strong and firm at the same time. The agrimony extract contributes to firming hair and skin structure. The tanning agents contained in the extract have a complex character and contribute to the scalp pore constriction so that consequently hair is greased only adequately. Other significant function lies in the effect when skin is occupied only by favourable non-pathogenic microorganisms so that formation of inflamed spots, dandruffs or intertrigo is reduces substantially. The agrimony extract also contains a whole series of flavonoids and polyphenolic acids which rank among the best antioxidants. These antioxidants prevent negative effect of external influences, to which smog, earthbound ozone, intensive sun radiation etc. belong, on hair and scalp. The free silicic acid from the agrimony extract contributes to firming hair and scalp structure. Its positive effect on hair is very well-known for example from the folk healing, because it is also contained in a large amount in so often used nettle top. The natural saponines, which apply especially as very gentle washing components of the preparation and thus contribute to its overall efficiency, are another significant component of the agrimony extract.
