Gallarum tinctura

Name of the product: Gallarum tinctura / Oak-apple tincture
Characteristic: An alcoholic tincture made from oak-apple
Plant of origin: Quercus infectoris Oliv.

Active substances:

Tannins (gallotanins), galic acid, m-digalic acid, elagic acid .

Indications:

Astringent agent (adstringens). Internal use: short-term application against diarrhoea. External use: for mouth mucosa and/or gum inflammatory diseases treatment and for burns treatment.

Contraindications:

None known.

Side effects:

None known.

Dosage:

Internal use: apply 20 drops on spoon and/or diluted into glass of water thrice a day. External use: soak the cotton tampon with the oak-apple tincture and daub over the appropriate area. In case of gargle preparation pour 1 teaspoon of oak-apple tincture into 150 ml of lukewarm water in glass.

Storage conditions:

The product must be stored in tightly closed original glass containers in temperature range from +5 °C to +25 °C in darkness.
