Massage gel with comfrey and chestnut is a complex product with plant extracts that have beneficial effects on regeneration of joints in an inflammatory condition or after strain. Substances contained in the product inhibit inflammation, soothe treated areas and promote desirable blood circulation through the skin and thus increase of metabolism that is a prerequisite of all regeneration processes. Natural substances from a chestnut extract (the so-called aescine) are known for their beneficial effects on increasing elasticity of vessel walls. A comfrey extract has been known for its beneficial effects in muscle and joint pain already for centuries. It contains a whole range of substances that favourably influence regeneration of affected tissues. These are, in particular, allantoin, polysaccharides, tannins and saponins as well as pyrrolizidine alkaloids. Effect of these substances brings relief also in cases of contused or bruised areas. In addition to mentioned extracts, the product also contains milk thistle oil and milk thistle extract with a strong antioxidant and regeneration effects.
The product is applied in a moderate amount on affected areas of the skin around joints. After gentle massage, gel warms the treated areas and promotes their revitalisation.
