Water-soluble gum composed mainly of acidic polysaccharide with galactose, 4-O-methyl-glucuronic acid and arabinose. Alcohol-soluble resins consisting of α-, β- a γ- commiphoric acids, commiphorinic acid, α- a β- heerabomyrrhols, heeraboresene and commiferine. Volatile oil containing myrcene, a-camphorene, dipentene, cadinene, heerabolene, limonene, pinene, eugenol, m-kresol, cinnamaldehyde, cumenaldehyde, cumenalkohol. Steroids including campesterol, cholesterol, β-sitosterol, Z-guggulsterol, and I, II, III guggulsterol. Terpenoids (α- amyr in) , othe r sesqui t e rpeni c hydrocarbons, sesqui t e rpeni c al cohol - e l emol - and five furanosesquiterpenoids.
Astringent activity and anti-septic action are main characteristic of myrrh tincture in case of its external use. It has also been shown to have disinfecting, deodorizing, and granulation promoting properties. It is used in case of mouth cavity disorders, gum inflammations (gingivitis, periodontitis), and larynx and pharynx inflammations (laryngitis and pharyngitis). For external use only!

Soak the cotton tampon with the myrrh tincture and daub over the appropriate area. In case of gargle preparation pour 1 teaspoon of myrrh tincture into 150 ml of cold water in glass. Storage conditions: The product must be stored in tightly closed original glass containers in temperature range from +5 °C to + 25 °C in darkness.
