Ratanhiae tinctura

Name of the product: Ratanhiae tinctura / Krameria (rhatany) tincture
Characteristic: An alcoholic tincture made from krameria ( rha tany) roots

Active substances:

Tannins (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) and red-tannins (phlobaphenes – oxidized polymeric proanthocyanidins). Neolignanes (ratanhiaphenols I, II and III).

Indications:

Astringent agent (adstringens). Internal use against diarrhoea. External use in case of inflammatory mouth cavity and gum disorders (gingivitis, periodontitis), and larynx and pharynx inflammations (laryngitis and pharyngitis).

Contraindications:

None known.

Side effects:

None known.

Dosage:

Internal use: 20 drops trice a day. External use: for mouth cavity and gum treatment soak the cotton tampon placed onto the tip of the toothpick with the rhatany tincture and daub over the appropriate area. In case of gargle preparation pour 1 teaspoon of myrrh tincture into 150 ml of cold water in glass.

Storage conditions:

The product must be stored in tightly closed original glass containers in temperature range from +5 °C to +25 °C in darkness.
