Characteristic: A combined alcoholic tincture made from: 1) Marsh trefoil leaf, 2) Wormwood (Absinthe) leaf and flowers, 3) Orange peel, 4) Gentian root, 5) Cinnamon volatile oil
Plants of origin: 1) Menyanthes trifoliata L., 2) Artemisia absinthium L., 3) Citrus aurantium L. subsp. Aurantium, 4) Gentiana sp. (Gentiana lutea L., Gentiana pannonoca Scopoli, Gentiana punctata L. and Gentiana purpurea L.), 5) Cinnamomum zeylandicum NESS (Cinnamomum verum J. S. PRESL)

Active substances:

Volatile oils (α- and β- thujone, thujol, felandrene, kadinene, d-limonene, terpineol, cineol, pinene,linalool, cinnamaldehyde, cinnamoic acid), bitter principles (absinthin, artabsin), iridoidic bitter principles (genciopikroside, amarogentin, amaroswerin, amaropanin), glycosidic bitter principles (menyanthine, foliamenthine, menthiafoline), gentisin, methyl ester of anthranilic acid, flavonoids (rutin, hesperidin, naringin), tannins, carotenoids, alkaloid (gentianine).

Indications:

The Amara tincture is the bitter agent (amarum) used in case of loss of appetite (anorectia), digestive malfunctions (dyspepsia), low secretion of gastric juice (subacidity).

Contraindications:

None known. Side effects: None known. Dosage: Use 20 drops diluted into glass of water before meal thrice a day.

Storage conditions:

The product must be stored in tightly closed original glass containers in temperature range from +5 °C to +25 °C in darkness.

Retesting period:
